Stuck on what to make next? Here are fifteen ideas we use with coaching clients. Pick one that fits your audience and the hours you have, try it for a few weeks, and keep notes on what happens.
Content ideas
- The honest comparison. Two or three options people actually choose between, with who each is for and who should skip it.
- “What I’d buy at three budgets.” Useful year-round and especially before the holidays.
- The setup walkthrough. A screen recording or hands-only video of the first hour with a product.
- The “is it worth it?” review. Lead with the trade-off, not the hype.
- The alternatives post. “Five alternatives to [popular tool]” helps people who already know what they don’t want.
- The mistake list. “Seven mistakes I made buying my first ___” is relatable and practical.
- The checklist or template. A free printable that naturally references the tools you recommend.
Distribution ideas
- Answer real questions in communities where self-promotion is allowed, linking only when it genuinely helps.
- Repurpose one piece four ways: article → short video → carousel → email.
- Start a tiny email list with one useful resource and a predictable send day. See affiliate email strategy.
- Update your top three posts before making new ones; refreshed content often outperforms new content.
- Build a resource page listing the tools you really use, with honest notes and a disclosure.
Seasonal and partnership ideas
- Plan for the holidays now. Use our Black Friday and Cyber Monday prep plans.
- Ask a program manager what content their audience finds most useful, and whether they offer creatives or exclusive codes.
- Pitch one brand with three original samples and a specific idea. Our brand deals guide shows how.
